Software Updating Instructions

On all updates. If the adminshop/config folder is included, do not upload it, it will over-write all your Shop Settings. If additional setting were included in the this update, it will warn you that the settings file does not exist. Just look in the adminshop/ config folder for the required settings file and upload it.
This also applies to your shopincs/ custom include files. It will overwite any custom top or bottom include files.
Also, confirm any included mysql files before changing your database structure.

We have developed our own technology to get you out the most recent bug fixes and updates on our software.

On all packaged updates, you will notice a ver/ folder with an included version text file. The version number is a 10 digit Unix Time Stamp (the time the update is made available).

Updating PayProCart Pro
If you have purchased our PayProCart Pro version, all mod updates (not java apps) are included in the Update package. You do not have to update every mod seperatly.

Updating PayProCart Mods
If you are using PayProCart Standard Free Version and have purchased one or more of our Mods, you will have to update them individualy.

After downloading the updates and unzipping them to your updates folder on your computer (should create an updates folder on your computer), you can just upload (ftp) the files and folders to your shop directory. Most FTP clientes respect the folder and sub-folder hierchy and all files within when they are uploading.
You should also upload the ver/ folder since you will have the version number on all your profitcode software.

Updating our Java Apps
Since the java Apps are individual programs, they will have to be updated seperatly. LiveHelp App and adminApp both have the actual program folder (program is launched on your computer) and web folders that must be uploaded to your site when required in the update.
